Courtesan Guild of Ealdormere
The Courtesan Guild of Ealdormere is a guild branch of courtesans in the Kingdom of Ealdormere. The Courtesan Guild of Ealdormere is an unofficial SCA Guild due to the nature of topic. Though courtesans do not perform specific acts, or services. The Courtesan Guild of Ealdormere is explicitly pro-sex work, pro-consent culture, anti-racist, trans- and queer-inclusive, and inclusive of all genders and disabilities in the roles of Courtesans, Tullians, and/or Patrons.
The Courtesan Guild of Ealdormere is affiliated with The Knowne World Courtesans. The Knowne World Courtesans are a free confederation of people dedicated to promoting courtesan/sex worker personas in the SCA, along with the study of historical gender and sexuality topics. Members who portray sex workers from before 1600 attempt to recreate their clothing, arts, and charms. They may perform, create art, host parties and gatherings, teach classes on historical sexuality topics, and assist with service during events.

- Badge: Gules, a wolf's head cabossed attired of a stag's attire, a bordure Or. (Registered jointly to Mærwynn Llwyd and Margrét Junc.)
- Badge: Gules, a hart trippant and a bordure Or. (Badge of the Knowne World Courtesans, jointly registered to Ginevra Fiammetta di Silvestri and Magdalena la Sanguigni of Atlantia.)
Goals
- To promote and support sex worker personas in the SCA.
- To encourage the study of the history of sex work and historical sexuality.
- To create a community that is a safe space for everyone.
- To promote sex education; to promote healthy perspectives on sexuality and consent; and to combat sex negative and whorephobic views.
- To create an atmosphere of luxury and opulence at events.
- To sponsor gatherings that are both fun and informative.
- To help make the SCA more pleasurable for everyone by providing hospitality and a welcoming place to relax and enjoy events.
Any and all classes, salons, parties, etc hosted by The Courtesan Guild of Ealdormere are strictly 18+ and attendees must bring their ID.

Not all members of Knowne World Courtesans of Ealdormere are courtesans, as there are other roles as well.
Patrons:
A Patron helps fund salons and other events or needs of courtesans. Patrons do not need to be a patron to a specific courtesan, nor does their partner need to be in the courtesan guild.

Tullians:
A Tullian act as a mix of honour guard and entourage for a Courtesan. Courtesans and Tullians have agreements within this relationship concerning what is expected in services.
