Her family holds two manors from the Earl of Leicester, Simon de Montfort. She is a patroness of the Dominican Order and has given alms to fund the copying of manuscripts. Her uncle Henry is a famous compiler of English common law. She also occasionally may be seen in the clothing of her great-grandmother, a 12th century Anglo-Norman woman of the same name.
