Lassarfhina Kynsayll
Persona
Lassarfhina's (they/she) roots began roughly “post-Norman invasion of Ireland.” Or, if you prefer the common era context: in the earliest of 'aughts, at Ealdormere War Practice. In the 25 years (or so) that have followed they have traversed many regions and timelines of interest, marked by a refusal to chose a “One True Century.” They were made a peer in Ealdormere in the year of our Society AS LIX for Diverse Arts, as a Laurel in the lineage of Corwyn & Domhnaill. When using a title, they use Ollamh (pronounced Olive.)
Whereabouts
Lassarfhina currently resides in the Shire of Trinovatia Nova (London) with their family Baron Rhisiart ap Meredudd, Panda Usagi & Kyla (who visits the Known World periodically). Prior to the great plague, they hailed from the Barony of Septentria (in Toronto).
Heraldry
Though it has not yet passed the requisite leaps, they informally use: per chevron wavy, argent & azure, 3 ermine spots sable, a salmon embowed fesswise to sinister argent.
Current Office(s)
Past Offices
- Privy Seal - Kingdom of Ealdormere
- Baronial Signet - Barony of Septentria
SCA History
Due to a marked fondness for brining people together in hospitality, frivolity and reverence, plus a certain skill in ops and logistics, they rather enjoy running events. From a Septentrian Baronial investiture, to multiple 12th Night events, a Kingdom A&S and participating on teams doing everything from bartending to sausage making, labouring as kitchen lackey or liaison, gilding honey cakes or Trilliums, they generally tend to the smooth operations of a good time for all (With a side of prioritizing a Quiet Room!!). They are currently working with Baroness Brigit Larkin to update the Event Steward's handbook with a priority to integrate accessibility guidelines.
Interests
Lassarfhina is an artisan, with diverse interests. Most especially in pigments, bone, clay and glass. They are fascinated by raw materials and medieval craftsmanship. Once upon a time, they also were rumoured to engage in the throwing of knives and axes.

Other Activities & Affiliations
They belong to Barrington House, and were apprenticed to Corwyn & Domhnaill. They grew from a group of three, carving bone and horn weekly, in the early 2000's, to a large dynamic group (of 20+ people) with an extraordinary range of skills, still gathering weekly over potluck feasts. They rejoin as often as they are able… though, missing the creative connection time dearly, they also started their own craft night in London.
They now host a camping group called Imbirwood Hearth – which you may occasionally see adjacent to Harpy Hall under the moniker “Hearth & Hall.” They also have the honour of tending to 3 incredible students (lord Edric Crowe, lord Leo de Lenoncourt & Maxx of Trinovantia Nova.)
