A household is a group of SCAdians who have come together for a common purpose. There are many forms of organization they might follow:

• A peer might choose to create and lead a household with members swearing allegiance to the peer and their house.
• A household could be formed when a group of fighters swear an oath of brotherhood to each other. Enabling them to fight together as a group.
• A household might be created to foster a particular task or skill in the kingdom.
• A household could also be formed from a group of gentles who choose to play together and identify as a group.
