Fundraising

Within the SCA the process of fundraising takes the form of tournaments, auctions, events, etc which serve to provide the Barony or Kingdom with the funds for it to operate smoothly. As the SCA is a non-profit educational organization each Kingdom, and Barony by extension, must be able to operate independently financially.Typically the Seneschal of a Kingdom or Barony is responsible for fundraising, though in some Kingdoms the Seneschal chooses to deputize a Community Liaison who takes on this responsibility.
