Dominus Howell James of Town's End (born Hywel James Townsende, 1563) is Norfolk-born actor and playwright currently residing in London. They fled their family's stuffy estate to seek fame and fortune on the stage, and now live in the costume storage closet of The Globe Theatre. Life is too short for heteronormativity or sumptuary laws.

SCA History

Howell James joined the SCA in September of 2023 after attending an introductory panel discussion at Fan Expo 2023. They went to the panel to ~~kill time before meeting Sean Astin~~ prove they cared about their best friend Eleanor Graeham's hobbies, and found themselves seduced. They brought with them their partner Ascelyn of Ben Dunfirth.

Howell enjoys embroidery, costuming, fencing, acting, singing, throwing knives, and marshalling children. Howell grins and bears paperwork because paperwork means everyone gets to keep having fun.
