===== SCA History =====
Matthäus first ran into the SCA when his brother briefly joined back in the 80s, attending an event in London (possibly a tournament at the cathedral) where he won the 50/50 draw by buying the last ticket. It seemed cool - so he waited thirty-ish years and showed up at the local [[branches:canton:Bryniau Tywynnog]] practice for some fighting in late May 2018. 

Matthäus' first "event" was Middle Ages on the Green, 2018, followed by the Coronation of Evander and Marioun. He has been continuing along ever since.
