====== Kaisa Haapalainen ======

===== Persona =====
A simple Finnish farm girl from 1397 who is a clothes whore, jumping from indecently exposed skin to cross dressing without a second thought. She swears like a sailor while stitching with home dyed threads, and bleeds profusely whenever she has to hand-finish hems.
 
Kaisa has been known to survive solely on wine, cheese, and the fumes of a woad pot for stretches of time, though she does quite enjoy asshole chickens from her Mistress' farm (which she promptly turns into soup once the flesh has been devoured). She also enjoys playing in the dirt, and can be found from time to time huddled in a basement shaping the same cup over... and over... and over....

Kaisa is easily influenced, and has been known to frantically stitch late into the night just prior to an event because her Mistress and Queen thought it'd be funny, and has an extremely hard time saying "No" when people ask for a project. Though she's been accused of having Helium Hand, Kaisa secretly enjoys having control of her Canton's money, even though she can't spend it on purchasing a Finnsheep and keep it in the backyard.

A brother left a long while ago, seeking a more exciting life than sheep can provide, and regularly writes to Kaisa about the adventures he has and the people he meets. Though he has a lady of his own, she often feels the need to send him clothing  or "pretty" things to help his war efforts. During the negotiations for her apprenticeship, a generous donation of pearls was provided to Kaisa's Mistresses by Lord Raffaello, as payment for taking on Kaisa and teaching her. The Mistress in question, however, may have underestimated how many jars of pickles Kaisa can eat, and most likely should have asked for more in the way of compensation. The family that Lord Raffaello has found in his travels are kept near to Kaisa's heart, and when she hears of a need they have, she endevours to help. This goes along with the Helium Hand accusation, as on more than one occasion she has found herself making, or offering to make, garments for Avacalians, or finding housing and food when members of her extended family has made the long trek to Ealdormere.

Kaisa joined the SCA in 2012. She was a student to Aurelia Gabriana from June 2013 to March 2014, when their relationship was formalized and she was taken as an [[scaism:Apprentice]]. As a result, she is belt-sister to Lady [[Jehanne de Bretagne]] and Lady [[Eeva the Restless]].

Finally, she's also been [[activities:service:feastocratting|Feast Staff]] for multiple events, including [[activities:events:Pikeman's Pleasure]], [[activities:events:queen_s_prize_tourney|Queen's Prize Tournament]], and Tournoi du Coeur de Glace.

Kaisa has been a Judge at [[activities:events:queen_s_prize_tourney|Queen's Prize Tournament]] in 2015 and 2016.
