Ascelyn joined the SCA in September of 2022 alongside their partner [[people:howell_james_of_town_s_end|Howell James of Town's End]], having been introduced to the Society by their friend Eleanor Graeham.

In June 2023 Ascelyn co-stewarded [[activities:events:murder_melee|Murder Melee]] alongside [[people:fischer_of_ben_dunfirth|Fischer of Ben Dunfirth]].

Ascelyn entered their first Pentathelon in [[activities:events:kingdom_arts_sciences|Kingdom Arts & Science]] in 2024, featuring most notably a recitation from memory of the [[history:line_of_the_north|Line of the North]].
