Sebastian de Sandoval
Persona
Sebastian de Sandoval is the third son of a Spanish merchant house in the 16th century. He frequently sails to new lands to establish new trade routes.

SCA History
Sebastian discovered the SCA in the Shire of Lionsdale, in the Kingdom of An Tir, circa 1999. His first actual event (as far as he can recall, anyway) was Clinton War in 2003.
He has been, ever since he first discovered it, passionately dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in fencing – and arguably before that, growing up and swinging sticks with his brothers in the back yard, much to his mother's concern about their ocular integrity.
Prior to the creation of the Masters of Defence as the fencing peerage, the highest award for fencing in An Tir was the Order of the White Scarf, a Grant-level award, as they were a signatory to the White Scarf Treaty. (This order was closed with the creation of the Masters of Defence in 2015.) Members of the OWS would frequently take on students as Cadets, and give them a red scarf to wear as a symbol of that affiliation.
Sebastian became a cadet to Don Pierce O'Briain, and later became a cadet to Maestro Guidobaldo Marco Odo Romeo d'Aquila, a relationship which he still retains – which is why you will frequently see him adorned with a red scarf at events, not to be confused with the red scarf of a cadet of the Ealdormere Academy of Defence. He is now Maestro Guidobaldo's Last Cadet Standing, and amused by being something of a historical artifact due to it now being impossible to be awarded entry into the Order of the White Scarf, and Maestro Guidobaldo, as a Master of Defence, only taking on provosts rather than cadets.
His modern career interrupted his ability to play in the SCA for some time, but he managed to get some activity in while residing near Castel Rouge in Northshield, and is happy to be able to play more actively since moving to the Canton of Caldrithig.
