Odilia Phillipot

Persona

Odilia Phillipot wanders across La Manche at her convenience. She is a woman of independent means, having had a short-lived marriage to a man who wandered off the edge of the world. She enjoys plant lore, growing her garden, making small things, and dancing – including a newfound love of galliards. She also has a drive to learn, and wants to try her hand at anything that could be useful to learn.

She is usually found in 12th to 13th century England and France, but she could easily be located with the Normands pre-settlement or with the Tudors. She is also thinking about exploring the Merovingians, as well as Britannia and Gaul.

She also spends time with her found family in all the time periods they inhabit.

Whereabouts

Odilia is located in the canton of Caldrithig, in the Barony of the Althing.

SCA History

Odilia has been SCA adjacent for many years, having heard tales of adventure and costumes from Lady Amalthea. She attended her first event at Paardenbloem in AS LVIII, and soon began attending weekly dance classes. She is also a history major, having taken medieval history classes in a prior degree. In addition to wanting to try all sorts of crafts, she has a keen interest in both the medieval world of gardens with the present day practice of cultivating and nurturing native plants.
