Mahhild de Valognes
Baroness Mahhild de Valognes is a Norman noblewoman from northern France around the time of King William II (around 1091 CE). Her late husband was away fighting in the First Crusade to retake the Holy Land from the infidel. She have two daughters: one married with a child and the other is devoted to God in a convent, leaving Mahhild to manage the estate. She later remarried to a well-to-do Welsh archer.
Whereabouts
Mahhild currently resides in the Canton of Petrea Thule, within the Barony of Septentria.

- Device: Per bend sable azure, on a bend sinister between view emblazon a cup and a broad arrow Or, two bendlets sinister.

SCA History
Mahild joined the Society in November of 2000. Her first event was Late Winter Shoot, which spurred her to take up the noble sport of archery. Queen (now Duchess) Rustique de Suarde was on the throne at said event, and Mahild remembers being in awe of all of the clothing and the comraderie. She felt like she belonged.
Mahild has always resided in Petrea Thule and still counts it as her home.

Mahild and Matilda have done numerous feasts, including Pikeman's Pleasure, Tournoi de Coeur de Glace, Queen's Prize Tourney, Emprise of the Ermine Star. Mahild has also made numerous lunches for Late Winter Shoot and Matilda. Mahild and Matilda have done numerous feasts, including Pikeman's Pleasure.
