As Ealdormere is descended from the Middle Kingdom, recipients have the right to wear an embattled silver coronet. In other lands, Viscounts and Viscountess wear a pearled coronet of twelve pearls.

Recipients they may style themselves as 'Visount' or 'Visountess', and are addressed as 'Your Excellency'.
