The Carrot of Excellence recognizes the actions of an individual or group who went above and beyond, did something particularly kind, or otherwise deserves informal recognition for deeds in the Barony. While the other baronial awards tend to be for a cumulative contribution, a carrot is an on-the-spot way Their Excellencies can say “We saw that, and it was awesome!” Carrots may be given to any society citizen.
