The Carrots of Excellence recognize the actions of an individual or group who went above and beyond; did something particularly kind; or otherwise deserves informal recognition for deeds in the Barony. While the other baronial awards tend to be for a cumulative contribution, a carrot is an on-the-spot way Their Excellencies can say “We saw that, and it was awesome!” Carrots may be given to any society citizen.
