Given for meritorious service to Ealdormere. Recipients who do not already have an Award of Arms receive one automatically with this award. This award may be given more than once.

The badge was named after Lady Bernadette, Osis' Shield-sister, who was killed alongside him during the accident; the blue and yellow of the badge are reflective of her heraldry.

Symbols and Titles

Recipients may style themselves 'Lord' or 'Lady'. They are properly addressed as “my Lord” or “my Lady.”

Recipients also gain the right to bear the badge of the award: 'Quarterly azure and Or, a heart counterchanged.'
