A Provost is a student in a formal relationship with a member of the Order of Defense. The terms of this relationship is entirely dependent on both the Master of Defense and the provost.
In Ealdormere, this is not to be confused with the rank in the Ealdormere Academy of Defence.
As the Provost is a very new concept in the society, traditions have not yet formed. The most common symbol of a Provost - if such a thing can be said to exist - is a collar, similar to the one worn by members of the Order of Defense.
