Membership

Membership in the SCA is offered by Corporate.

Buying a membership supports the SCA as an organization. It also:

• Allows one to hold an officer position (even at the Canton level you need a membership).
• Gains a member discount to event site fees.
• Allows one to fight in Crown Tournament
• Gives one access to various publications, including The Tidings, Tournaments Illuminated, the Compleat Anachronist, and the Board of Directors' Proceedings.

In Ealdormere, membership does not impact:

• Participation in meetings or activities
• The ability to attend events
• Registering a name, arms, or badge
• Reception of awards

Membership types

• Associate (membership card only, no publications)
• Sustaining (includes online kingdom newsletters)
• International (includes online kingdom newsletters)
• Family Member (family memberships may be purchased by Sustaining/International members, for one additional adult and any children 21 and under residing at their address)

Other publications can be subscribed to for an extra fee.
