Auríkr Biarnarson

Persona

Auríkr Biarnarson (he/him) is an 11th-century Norse blacksmith living on the northern shores of Vinland. While under the direction of Leif Erikson, he helped establish a settlement in the new land.

Whereabouts

Auríkr currently resides in the Canton of Caldrithig, within the Barony of Skraeling Althing.

• Arms: Sable, in pale three hammers Or between flaunches per fess rayonny Or and gules.

SCA History

Auríkr is a long standing member of the Caldrithig Choir (where he sings bass and, much more recently… tenor) and the Caldrithig Instrumental Group (where he plays the bass recorder, and possibly the soprano or tenor, depending on music or his lady's whim).

He was the event autocrat for the 2015 Feast of the Hare.

He also participated in the 2016 Spring Trillium Exchange, where he made 50 pewter cast buttons.
