Armiger Ascelyn of Ben Dunfirth (conversationally: Asce or Ash) is a 14th-century personae from the Scottish Lowlands. Ascelyn wears green, blue, and yellow. Auberlin Aesch is a 15th-century Zuricher who like to fight. Auberlin wears red, black, and armour.

Ascelyn currently resides in the Barony of Ben Dunfirth.

SCA History

Ascelyn joined the SCA in September of 2022 alongside their partner Howell James of Town's End, having been introduced to the Society by their friend Eleanor Graeham.

In June 2023 Ascelyn co-stewarded Murder Melee alongside Fischer of Ben Dunfirth.

Ascelyn entered their first Pentathelon in Kingdom Arts & Science in 2024, featuring most notably a recitation from memory of the Line of the North.

Ascelyn entered their second Pentathelon in 2025, winning and being appointed as Their Majesties' Arts & Sciences Champion.
