Barrington House is a household of artists and artisans built around the hospitality of its leaders Master Corwyn and Duchess Domhnaill. Their roots originate with the merchanting House Galbraith, and in their prosperity and adventure they have brought together a bountiful group of creatives who gather regularly 'round their hearth.
The line of Corwyn and Domhnail began with a pot of chili on the stove and a basement workshop laden with tools and wares of horn, bone and antler, piled high and many more in the making. And ideas! Countless inspiring ideas, percolating… Curious explorations ensued and expanded into deep delving projects, and epic collaborations.
Master Hector was among the earliest faces seen in the midst. Lassarfhina and soon after, Tarian became regular visitors (basement barnacles?!) and eventually apprentices. They were joined by Piero, who was associated -though not apprenticed to them- and they begged the boon for his entry to the order of the laurel. Numerous other associates and friends joined the mix, long-time friend Dagmar (now in the East) counted dearly among them. Their journeys have also taken them into Viking lands with Sigtryggring, and have brought home the bounty of friendships with them.
Many a delicious feast has been brought forth by their hands - most memorably, over coals at the Althing on Tom & Larisa's farm, and most recently at the Coronation of Anneke & Tristham. You may have also heard of their wattle and daub exploits in a northern forest…
