The Games Guild of Ealdormere is an open organization of medieval games enthusiasts within the Society of Creative Anachronism. It was founded on November 3, 2001 (Anno Societatus XXXVI), chartered by Aaron II and Rustique II. The Guild's primary goal is to teach people about medieval games, engage in research, and encourage the play of games at events.
The Guild's membership is open to anyone who is interested, whether they reside within the Kingdom of Ealdormere or not. The only requirements are that a prospective member register themselves with the Head of the Guild and, when at an event in a Guild function, represent the guild to the best of their abilities.
