Order of the Crucible

The Order of the Crucible is a grant-level Order in the Kingdom of Ealdormere. It is a polling order, thus members of the order give suggestions to the Crown for new inductees.

Requirements

Members of this Order are individuals who:

  • Have demonstrated skill in a variety of arts and sciences, including a high level (journeyman) skill in at least one discipline
  • Have demonstrated a knowledge of period techniques
  • Have demonstrated the ability to research and the willingness to teach arts and sciences-related skills
  • Provide an example of courtesy and chivalry worthy of emulation

Symbols and Titles

Recipients may style themselves “The Honourable Lord” “The Honourable Lady”, or “The Honourable Noble”. They are properly addressed as “Your Lordship”, “Your Ladyship” or “Your Nobleness”.

Recipients may also bear the badge Gules, a mullet of seven points voided and interlaced and a double tressure Or.
