The Great Chalice of Skraeling Althing is a baronial award given in the Barony of Skraeling Althing. It is given to recognize a person or persons who has advanced the cause of authenticity in diverse aspects of Baronial life. The recipient has not only put extra effort into making their persona as historically accurate as possible, but has also worked to make events and other activities feel more authentic for everyone attending.
This award is given in succession once a year, often at Feast of the Hare in November. The recipient is then asked to be the cup bearer in Their Excellencies Court.
