====== Provost ======
A **Provost** is a student in a formal relationship with a member of the [[awards:Order of Defense]]. The terms of this relationship is entirely dependent on both the Master of Defense and the provost.

In Ealdormere, this is not to be confused with the [[miscellaneous:eaod_ranks:provost|rank]] in the [[groups:guilds_and_orders:Ealdormere Academy of Defence]].

As the Provost is a very new concept in the society, traditions have not yet formed. The most common symbol of a Provost - if such a thing can be said to exist - is a collar, similar to the one worn by members of the [[awards:Order of Defense]].
