A **Court Barony** is given at the pleasure of the Crown. Often, it is awarded to retiring [[awards:territorial_barony|Territorial Barons and Baronesses]] in recognition of their service.

Recipients may style themselves as 'Baron' or 'Baroness', and may be addressed as 'Your Excellency'.

Recipients have the right to wear a silver coronet adorned with six spheroids (traditionally pearls).
