===== Persona =====
Magister Xandra Rozina Xiberras Galea, called Rozi, is Maltese, born to a daughter of the Xiberras family around 1520 CE and a member of a knight's household. She has traveled traveled extensively in Europe, finally settling down for some years at a patron’s house as a blacksmith.  Her penchant for the arts of healing led to her patron suggesting she go to medical school.  And thus Virgilio (Rigel) Galea was born, as only males can attend medical school at this time.  Rigel completed medical school in Bologna and has now (1550) settled in Venice working out of the Red Falcon Apothecary shop.

When you see Rozi/Rigel in person, you may use either name and any pronoun you choose.

Rozi currently resides in the Royal Citie of [[branches:canton:eoforwic|Eoforwic]], in the Barony of [[branches:barony:septentria|Septentria]].


===== Heraldry =====
Rozi does not have her own heraldry, but uses a red falcon, red and white checky, and a red-and-white Maltese cross in lieu of personal arms, based on her Maltese heritage.

===== SCA History =====
Rozi started [[activities:arts_sciences:dance|dancing]] and [[activities:martial:rapier_combat|fencing]] in 1998; the fencing stuck. She has been doing various forms of [[activities:arts_sciences:metalworking|metalwork]] approximately since then, enjoying making coronets and order medallions.

Rozi has ran several events in the [[https://wiki.eastkingdom.org/wiki/East_Kingdom|East Kingdom]], including seven Royal Progresses. She has also cooked for a few events (12th-century Persian), and made many scrolls. Rozi prefers to make non-standard scrolls, such as monochromatic scrolls or objects that include wood or metal.

Rozi loves to teach, especially fencing - she loves figuring out what works best for different types of bodies.
