Ines de Freitas (she/her) is an Afro-Luso woman living in Lisbon, Portugal. She is an innkeeper at The Green Pear Inn (La Pêra Verde). She also has investments in fishing boats and trade in fish and wool.

===== SCA History =====
Ines joined the SCA in December 1989, when Ealdormere was a Principality. She attended her first meeting in the Canton of Eoforwic at a dance practice. She quickly became known as a [[activities:arts_sciences:bardic|Bard]] and known for her research in Black history, Middle and Central Asia culture, and women's studies.

During Covid, after some years of absence from Kingdom of Ealdormere activities, Ines returned to participate online, At this time, [[people:ragnheithr_thorbjarnardottir| Ragnheithr Thorbjarnardottori]]  did Ines the honour of accepting her as her apprentice in AS 56.
