===== Persona =====

Mistress Ana Yanka, called Anya, does not have a defined persona. She has taken Duke Finvarr's advice to heart and opted not to constrain her interests to one time or place. She enjoys adopting Rus, Viking, Celt, and Tudor modes of dress.

===== Whereabouts =====

She is originally from the Kingdom of Atlantia and resided in Aethelmearc before moving to Ealdormere. She currently lives on the shore of Lake Huron within the [[branches:barony:ramshaven|Barony of Ramshaven]].

===== Heraldry =====

===== SCA History =====

In 2011, Anya attended [[activities:events:pennsic_war|Pennsic War]] as her first SCA event. The following Pennsic she met her wife, [[people:Mjoll_Ulfsdottir|Mjǫll Kenimaðr]]. This subsequently led her to move to Ealdormere in 2015. 

She received her Orion Award at Pennsic in 2018. In the same year she entered a portfolio of illuminations in the [[activities:events:queen_s_prize_tourney|Queen's Prize Tournament]]. 

In 2019, she entered a series of illuminations in the [[activities:arts_sciences:kingdom_arts_and_sciences_competition|Kingdom Arts & Sciences Competition]].

Anya was accepted into the Order of the Crucible for scroll illuminations at Break the Back of Winter in 2020. 

She has also participated in the [[activities:arts_sciences:trillium_exchange|Trillium Exchange]].

===== Groups =====

Anya is one of the founders of [[groups:households:fraken_kraken|Fraken Kraken]]. At Pennsic in 2019, Fraken Kraken was placed on the [[awards:scroll_of_honour|Scroll of Honour]] for providing hospitality following the Woods Battle.

Anya is apprenticed to Dame [[history:lineages:line_of_berend|Marguerite Gingraix]]. She is also associated with the households of Sir [[history:lineages:line_of_evander|Varenko]] and Master [[history:lineages:line_of_tarkatai|Tarkatai]] via her wife, Mjǫll.

Anya has previously associated with Chaos House in Aethelmearc and Chez d'Argent in Atlantia.
