 Harrowgate Heath was founded in AS 38.  After the first choice of name for the new Canton was unable to be registered, the name Harrowgate Heath was chosen and registered in AS 41. It eventually became clear that the local population was not substantial enough to support an SCA group, and the canton was dissolved in AS 54.
